Almanac94 is a free web directory assembled on the principles of a trade almanac. Every listed site is assigned to one of 22 industry sections — named registers like the Finance & Markets Ledger, the Health & Medical Compendium, or the Travel & Hospitality Register. Each section has a defined brief, and every site in it was catalogued because it fit that brief.
The directory currently holds 836 approved entries. Entries come from site owners who submit through the open submission form, and from editors who catalogue sites discovered in the course of maintaining the almanac. Every submission goes through a review before being assigned to a section.
Almanac94 does not rank its listings by traffic, revenue, or any paid arrangement. The order within each section is chronological by date of entry. A flat, unranked catalogue is more useful as a reference than one shaped by metrics that cannot be independently verified.
The project is operated by a small team. We keep the directory free to browse and free to submit to. If you operate or know of a site that belongs in one of our sections, the submission form is open. Editors review new entries and file them to the appropriate section on a rolling basis.
If you have a correction or question about a listing, use the contact details on the About page. We aim to keep the register accurate and current.
